Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Palo Azul?

A: Palo Azul is the wood from the Cyclolepis plant, a deciduous shrub known for its sweet-smelling white flower blossoms. Known by science as the Eysenhardtia polystachya herb, it is more commonly referred to as Palo Azul or Kidney Wood, which is Spanish for "blue stick", coming from the bluish hue this tea makes.

Q: How is Palo Azul grown and produced?

A: High Quality Palo Azul starts with location. Azul Tea gets Palo Azul from the best plantations in eastern-central Mexico which are then delivered straight to the US and then immediately to you. Thousands of pounds of Palo Azul wood is available at anytime to be shipped out, which is the reason we can offer such competitively priced rates for excellent quality Palo Azul.

Q: How do you prepare Palo Azul?

A: Making Palo Azul tea is very easy. Get a pot and fill it with a gallon and a half of water. Get the water to boiling temperature, and then put in 1oz of Palo Azul wood. Let it boil for 60 minutes. When that is done you will have a gallon of Palo Azul tea. Drink this gallon of tea 24-48 hours before a drug test to detoxify the system. Please see our full article here.
